Rampart Streetcar Service Temporarily Suspended for Sewer Repairs

The 46-Rampart line will operate from Union Passenger Terminal (UPT) to the Canal St. Ferry Terminal only.

Bus lines 8-St. Claude - Arabi and 55-Elysian Fields will detour. See maps below.

The Rampart Streetcar line will remain out of service as crews complete additional construction work necessary to safely restore service. This follows critical underground infrastructure repairs by the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans

A firm return-to-service date has yet to be determined.

We know this delay impacts many riders, and we appreciate your patience as we work closely with the Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans and the contractor to complete this work safely.
