St. Charles Streetcar Line Downtown Loop - Pavement Replacement Project

Repair work to the St. Charles streetcar line is ongoing downtown. This work will improve driving conditions and eliminate the need for frequent asphalt repairs in the future.

Canal St. Ferry Departing from Interim Terminal

The Canal Street - Algiers ferry is temporarily departing the east bank from the interim berth in front of the Audubon Aquarium.

Relocation of Transit Hub to Duncan Plaza 

Due to the Hard Rock Hotel collapse and exclusion zone, RTA has relocated its central transit hub to Duncan Plaza at 343 Loyola Ave. The RTA is not servicing bus stops located at Elk Pl. and Canal St. Riders should go to Duncan Plaza to catch buses normally serviced at Elk Pl. and Canal St. 

Additionally, Duncan Plaza has been separated into three (3) stops. Each bus line going to Duncan Plaza will use one of the stops for boarding and exiting the bus.
